Skin Rituals + Waxing — Facials at the Skin + Body Lounge.

A skin ritual at White Brick is a professional facial built around a real consultation — deep cleansing, professional-grade exfoliation, targeted treatment, and a plan for your skin between visits.

Every ritual at our Brookfield Skin + Body Lounge is led by our esthetician Jen: two decades in professional skincare, formerly a national trainer in microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels. Your face is in genuinely expert hands.

And it's not just facials: Jen brings the same two decades of expertise to full-service waxing — brows to Brazilians — with the fast hands and zero-awkwardness energy that turn a chore into a fifteen-minute errand you don't dread.

Meet Jen

Before landing at White Brick, Jen spent two decades in professional skincare — including years as a national trainer teaching other estheticians how to do what she now does for you. She's an ingredient encyclopedia, a long-term-results perfectionist, and the kind of person who will tell you honestly what your skin needs (and what it doesn't).

Facial + Waxing FAQs

How often should I get a facial? Every 4–6 weeks for most skin — that's one full skin cycle. Jen builds your cadence into your plan at your first ritual, adjusted for your skin and season.

Which skin ritual should I start with? The Revival is the right first visit for most guests — it includes the full consultation, and Jen will tell you honestly whether your skin would benefit from stepping up. Booking before an event? The Golden Veil.

Does a chemical peel mean days of peeling? Not necessarily. Jen custom-blends every peel to your skin and your calendar — depth, downtime, and timing are all part of the consultation. Some peels have no visible flaking at all.

Does dermaplaning make facial hair grow back thicker? No — that's the most persistent myth in skincare. Vellus hair ("peach fuzz") grows back exactly as it was. What you keep: smoother texture, better product absorption, and flawless makeup application.

What is nanoinfusion? A no-downtime treatment that uses microscopic channels to deliver active ingredients deeper than topical skincare can reach. Think of it as opening the door for your serums instead of leaving them knocking.

How should I prepare for waxing? Hair should be about a quarter-inch (roughly 2–3 weeks of growth). Skip retinol and exfoliants near the area for a few days prior, and avoid tanning the day before. Then just show up — Jen handles the rest.

Do you offer men's facials and waxing? Yes — The Revival tuned to men's skin, plus back and shoulder waxing. A large and growing share of the Lounge's guests are men; you won't be the only one.

Do I need a consultation first? It's built in — every ritual starts with one. If you're unsure what to book, book The Revival and let Jen take it from there.

Make a Day of It

Pair your ritual with a color appointment upstairs, a head spa, an airbrush tan, or a glass of wine at Golden Hour after. This building was designed for exactly that.
