Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions — White Brick Salon
We're all about transparency, ease, and making sure you feel confident before you even step through our doors. Below are some of our most frequently asked questions. If you don't see what you're looking for, text us—we're happy to help.
Q: Where are you located and what's the parking situation?
A: White Brick Salon is located on Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Easily accessible via Hwy 43, and about 20 minutes from both downtown Milwaukee to the East or the Lake Country area to the West. We have our own private parking lot with plenty of space, including overflow parking behind the building. No meters, no hassle—just easy access so you can arrive stress-free.
Q: How do I know which service to book?
A: If you're unsure of what service is best for your goals, you can either book a complimentary consultation or text us your current hair and inspo photos. Our front desk team will help guide you to the best stylist and service match.
Q: Do you require a consultation for extensions?
A: Yes. A consultation is required prior to booking any extension service. This ensures we color-match accurately, determine your ideal method, and answer any questions before you commit.
Q: Are deposits required for extensions?
A: Yes. All extension installs require a deposit to secure your appointment. A credit card is also required on file at the time of booking.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: We get it—life happens. We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. If you don't attend your appointment without alerting us, or cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, a 50% service fee will be automatically charged to your card on file. We do our best to be understanding, but out of respect for your stylist and other clients, please let us know as soon as you have any conflicts.
Q: Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
A: We're happy to welcome your guests, but ask that you keep in mind the salon space is cozy. For longer appointments, we recommend coming solo so you can fully relax. We love kids, but in order to provide a luxury experience for all guests and keep your child safe, we ask that anyone under the age of 13 has an additional guardian to supervise them while in the salon.
Q: How do stylist levels work?
A: Our stylists are tiered by experience and demand. All stylists are trained to meet White Brick's high standards—levels simply reflect tenure and availability. If you're not sure who to book with, we're happy to match you.
Q: Do you sell products in-salon?
A: Yes! We carry a curated range of styling and care products, including the full Goldie Locks line. Ask your stylist for recommendations tailored to your hair goals.
Q: What if my service didn't turn out the way I hoped?
A: Reach out to us within one week of your appointment and let us know what's going on. We want to make it right—we just ask that you contact us promptly so we can take care of you properly. A member of our team will connect with you to understand the situation and work with you on next steps.
Q: How quickly will a redo be scheduled?
A: All redo services are completed within two weeks of your original appointment. We'll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
Q: Will I see my original stylist for a redo?
A: In most cases, yes. In situations where your stylist isn't available within the required timeframe, or if you'd prefer to see someone else, we'll assign another stylist to take care of you.
Q: What if I just want something different than what I originally asked for?
A: A redo is specifically for services that didn't turn out as intended. If you'd like to change direction from what was originally requested, that's a new service and will be priced accordingly. Product charges always apply regardless of the situation.
Q: What if I have more questions about my service?
A: Reach out to us directly—we're always happy to talk through any concerns before, during, or after your appointment.
