Your Brookfield Holiday Gift Guide: Local Makers in One Room at Babes in Bizz

Friday, November 6 · 5–9 PM · White Brick Salon, 14640 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield

We just spent a year pouring everything we had into this expansion — the investment, the late nights, the “are we actually doing this” moments at 11 PM with a tape measure and a dream. We came out the other side with a bigger building and a much deeper respect for anyone who decides to build something of their own.

Because it’s hard. It’s expensive and exhausting and most days nobody’s watching. And the people who do it anyway — who keep showing up for the thing they love making — those are some of our favorite people on earth.

So we’re filling the place with them.

Friday, November 6, from 5 to 9 PM, women-owned businesses from around Brookfield and Milwaukee are taking over White Brick for our 3rd Annual Babes in Bizz. Candles, custom hats, permanent jewelry, pickles, tiny tattoos, flowers you arrange yourself, cookies, clothing, skincare and more creative ideas we love.

Golden Hour will be open. There’s a charcuterie spread we’ve been told is “huge,” and honestly we’re a little scared. It’s free to come, it’s loud and fun, and this is the year we finally have the room to do it right.

Come shop. Come sip. Come get a tiny tattoo at 8 PM because it’s Friday and you’ve earned it.

Things you can buy

CB Apothecary — Candles. The kind you keep for yourself and then panic-buy four more of as gifts.

Tony’s Pickles — Pickles. Genuinely that’s it, and genuinely they’re great. Stocking stuffer of the year.

Boho Luxe — Clothing and accessories, curated with an eye you’ll wish you had.

Kacey’s Closet — More boutique finds. Between these two racks, somebody on your list is getting something good.

Better Together (Heather) — Photography and handmade crafts. Wall-art energy.

BeeBabe.co — Skincare, including a applicator design that’s genuinely clever. Newest addition to the lineup.

Things you can make

Boho Chicken Mama — A custom hat bar. You pick the hat, you pick the patch, you walk out with something nobody else has. This one gets a line, so come early.

Bloom Bar — Build your own arrangement. Bring it home, or hand it to someone on the way.

Brittany — Custom cookies and creative designs. The decorating-is-the-point kind.

Things you can wear out the door

Kismet — Permanent jewelry. Welded on, sized to you, no clasp. It’s a 15-minute commitment and a very good “we were there” souvenir.

Revival Ink Studio — Tiny tattoos. Small, fast, and significantly more fun in a room full of your friends.

Things you can ask about

Not everyone here is selling something you wrap. A few are worth a conversation:

Salt Spot — Halotherapy and salt cave sessions. Worth asking what it actually does for sinuses and sleep, because the answer surprises most people.

IVme — IV hydration, vitamin therapy, and aesthetics. If you’ve been curious but never wanted to ask in a clinical setting, this is the low-stakes version.

Maureen — BioActive Precision Peptides, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and fitness and nutrition coaching. The most “wait, tell me more” table in the building.
