Magic in the Mess - The LO DOWN, Vol. 7

Between continued construction, new team energy, and the pulse of summer, things have felt full, and I’m doing my best to stay grounded while enjoying the season. Brandon and I have been spending more time outdoors (yes, lots of hugging dogs and trees 😂), and I’ve officially shifted my hours behind the chair to focus on what’s next for the salon.

There’s a lot in motion from education to expansion to ideas we’re not quite ready to say out loud yet, but just know it’s all rooted in the same White Brick magic: beauty, connection, and building something that makes you feel something special.

There’s magic in the mess.

Literally, it’s amazing to just lean in and let this season feel energizing and playful even when it looks (and sometimes feel) like total chaos.

Team growth is in full bloom.

We’ve added some incredible new energy to the squad (hi, Cate!), and we’re continuing to invest in education. We’re always sharpening our skills so we can keep showing up for you at the highest level.

A shift behind the scenes.

I’ve officially scaled back my hours behind-the-chair to focus on the big changes taking place. This means growing and loving on the team, expanding what we offer, and dreaming up AND BUILDING what comes next...eep!

Hot dogs, real dogs, camping, tree hugging, concerts, sunshine...

You know I’m about it. When life is throwing so much my way, i have my tools to connect back to the beautiful present.

In my opinion, being connected to yourself or your spirituality or to god also means leaning so fully into this human experience, so:

eat the hot dogs

cuddle the pups

go barefoot

dress wild for the concert

sing at the top of your lungs

...ya know, experience the magic of the summer season!
