The Bloom — The LO DOWN, Vol. 17
Hi friends!
Umm, what a month. Sun's back, the birds are singing, the team has a kind of joy I haven't seen in a long time. So many GOLDEN HOURS over here — the literal kind (Wisconsin in May, you guys) and the kind I'm building with the people I love most.
So much to share: a head spa launch I've been thinking about for years, big shifts to our offerings, Golden Hour finally coming together (I MEAN, the cups), another inspection cleared, and a few soul things I've been sitting with.
None of this happens alone — and I don't say that lightly. Every wall painted, every cup unboxed, every late-night call about microcement — someone chose to build this with me, and I am so grateful for every one of them. My family. My team. You.
Thanks for believing in me and with me!
xo,
Lo
You’re actually not going to believe what you see when you walk into the new space. The way Golden Hour is coming together — I MEAN, DO YOU SEE THESE CUPS? — is honestly constant goosebumps. Another inspection is complete and we’re one step closer. SO SOON!
MEET: HEAD SPA TREATMENTS
For me, hair has never just been about hair. Over the years, especially working so closely with extension clients, I’ve become incredibly aware of how connected the scalp is to stress, tension, confidence, sensitivity, and overall wellbeing.
I wanted to create something that goes far beyond “getting your hair washed” whether or not you’re an extension client — an experience that blends luxury scalp wellness with true sensory restoration through massage, steam, aromatherapy, intentional treatments, and moments of stillness that feel increasingly rare today.
I’m so excited to bring something to White Brick that feels elevated, restorative, and honestly unlike anything else I’ve experienced in Wisconsin — or much of the industry as a whole.
We’ll be announcing the service in detail in the next few weeks, but this shift in priority for the expansion feels iconically White Brick of us.
I keep learning that rest isn't a reward you earn after the work is done — it's part of the work. Anything built to last has rest built into it. My process. This business. Our whole lives.
The entire expansion has me thinking about this a lot. We are building an entire business dedicated to the downshift, because no one is going to give it to you, and you're not going to schedule it for yourself.
You have to walk in and let someone else hold the time for you. That's what we're building because I know it's what we all need (and deserve.)
