White Brick Turns Five — and Golden Hour Is Open

Hi friends — what a month.

White Brick turned five. Golden Hour is officially open — come visit Tuesday through Saturday 8am–9pm and Sunday 8am–1pm. We're finalizing our offerings for The Skin + Body Lounge. I met one of my favorite humans on the planet, finished my head spa certification, and held a lot of energy in one body.

The sun is back. Life feels alive and busy. Brandon and I keep finding ourselves in the new space after hours, just standing there, taking it in. There's a specific kind of awe that comes with the part of the process where it all starts to feel real — where the vision you've been carrying finally has walls and light and people in it.

I keep coming back to the same thought: if I stayed true to my heart and worked really hard, God would take care of the rest. And boy, has He. Five years in, and the best chapters are still ahead.

Five Years of White Brick

White Brick turned five this month, and I still can't quite believe it.

Five years ago, White Brick 2.0 was built on a vision, a lot of faith, and no real roadmap. Looking back, it's genuinely incredible to see how much we've grown — the team, the space, the services, the community we've built together. None of it was guaranteed. All of it was worth it.

Here's to five more — and then some.

The Golden Hour Menu: A Sneak Peek

We finalized the menu, and when I tell you you're going to be blown away — I mean that whole-heartedly.

We spent months tasting, experimenting, sourcing, and testing until we landed on beverages we honestly cannot wait to share with you. A few things to look forward to:

Palo santo latte
Vanilla bloom immune-boost matcha
Colorful, nourishing adaptogenic refreshers
Wine-based "cocktails"
...Caymus.

A Weekend That Reset Everything

In celebration of the salon's birthday and the approaching launch, we had the chance to see Tash Sultana — one of my favorite artists — a few times on a little Midwest tour of our own. It brought up a lot for me.

Energy is everything. Perspective is everything. Both flow where you put your attention.

Meeting Tash activated both of those statements. I was nervous — I didn't know who she'd be in real life. But she was a dream. We hugged, talked about life and Brandon's music, she signed the name of her new album on my jersey. And I felt my whole nervous system land. A much-needed creative weekend reset.
