August, you were a big one — and I mean that in the happiest way.
The head spa finally opened its doors after months of us obsessing over every last detail. Airbrush tanning went live. Jen joined our team and brought a whole menu of skin rituals with her. And if you've been in lately, you've probably met a few new faces behind the bar at Golden Hour and up at the front desk.
We've been talking about this year for so long that having it all actually here, all at once, still doesn't feel real some days. I keep looking around like — wait, this is the thing we planned? INSANE.
It's been busy and full and a little bit wild, and I have loved every second of it.
Thank you for your patience while we build. For the parking. For learning everyone's names. For choosing us in the middle of all this change — it means more than you know.

We Basically Live Here
If you've stopped in this month, you've probably spotted my mom keeping things tidy and my dad bussing tables and pouring wine. They were supposed to be helping out "for a bit," and that was months ago now. I’m honored they’re as excited abou thtis chpater as I am. What a dream! The rest of us? We basically live here too.
New Faces 🤍
We've grown a lot this summer — new people behind the bar at Golden Hour and new people at the front desk.
Every one of them was chosen carefully, and they're already making this place better than it was. Be patient with us while they learn your name. They'll get there.
The Change Part
I'm still slowly stepping back from behind the chair, which I'll admit isn't the easiest thing in the world after all these years — it's where every bit of this started.
But the spa is where my focus is right now. Finishing the rooms, fine-tuning the experiences, choosing products, hiring the right people. It's all the stuff nobody sees, it's taking about three times longer than I thought it would, and I'm having the best time doing it.

Soul Things
Summer is on its way out and I've been trying to actually get outside and be in it before it goes — even if that just means fifteen minutes between a meeting and a shift. Turns out fifteen minutes counts for a whole lot more than I ever gave it credit for.
The pups love sharing their love with you in the salon, but they could care less about service menus or hiring timelines, and there is something very grounding about that — it means walking for sniffs, chasing critters, and hanging onto summer a little longer.
